Keep a daily journal, track tasks, and capture spontaneous thoughts using automated Daily Notes.

Creating Today's Note

• Press Ctrl+Shift+D (or Cmd+Shift+D on macOS) to instantly open or create today's daily note.
• Alternatively, click the Daily Note calendar icon in the side navigation sidebar.

Automated Templates

• Standardize your daily entries. Go to Settings -> Templates and assign a default daily note template.
• Each time you create a new daily note, it will automatically populate with placeholders for date, time, and custom headings (like # Journal, # Tasks, or # Scratchpad).
